The height.the speed.I rode back seat (left side) for my first "Mission". Also, you can hardly see any of B:TR from inside the park at SFOG.most of it is behind Gotham Park's wall)īack to Top Gun.The ride experience on this coaster is quite intense.
(I think that these two issues are sore points with me thanks to Six Flags.do they have some moral imperative that they must level EVERY tree within the entire footprint of a ride? Check out the various installations of Batman: The Ride and see how many trees there are. The light blue and gray steel are framed by the area's lush greenery makes a REAL visual impact. Another nice benefit is that you are able to walk all in and around it and get pretty close to it in a number of places - the main walkway from the park's South Gate winds up the hill underneath TopGun.so it was great for taking pictures. In addition, it was woven THROUGH the trees, and that makes for not only a striking visual appeal, but also for a more intense ride experience (more on that coming up). It is built across and down a hillside, and it uses the topography of the land BEAUTIFULLY. Of all the B&M inverted installations that I have visited, this one might just be the most visually appealing one that there is. Clear weather, if a bit chilly.Īnyhow, when the gates opened at 10, I headed straight for Top Gun. I woke up early (5 AM) on Saturday morning and drove 4 hours.pulled into Carowinds parking lot at 9:15 AM (Gates open at 10). I have just returned from a GREAT weekend at Paramount's Carowinds in Charloote, NC.
